Mopar Parts Basic 12-Month Limited Warranty
Except as listed below, MOPAR parts sold over the counter or wholesaled are warranted against defects in workmanship or materials for 12 months/unlimited miles for parts (exchange) only. Parts installed on a Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge or Jeep® vehicle by an authorized Chrysler, Dodge or Jeep dealer are warranted for 12 months/12,000 miles for both parts and labor, or for 12 months/unlimited miles for parts (exchange) only, whichever is more favorable to the customer.
The following MOPAR products have time and mileage limitations, or warranty coverages that differ from the general coverage described above:
- Accessories including Air Conditioning Systems
- Batteries
- Catalytic Converters (if not replaced under the New Vehicle Emissions Limited Warranty)
- MOPAR Performance Engine Assemblies
- Master Shield® Protection Products
- Mufflers, Shocks, Struts and Bedliners
- MOPAR Remanufactured Parts, Engine Assemblies - Gas and Diesel, Powertrain Parts - Cylinder Heads, Transmissions and Transaxles and Antilock Brake Controllers
- MOPAR Replacement Sheet Metal

Reman Powertrain Warranty Coverage
Quality. Value. Availability. Those are just some of the hallmarks of Mopar remanufactured products. Now warranty coverage can be added to that list with Mopar’s new 3 year/100,000 mile warranty on certain powertrain products.
Mopar’s new 3 year/100,000 mile warranty is a significant extension from the previous 3 year/80,000 mile warranty. Mopar’s new warranty on remanufactured powertrain products is superior to many aftermarket suppliers, and makes a solid statement about the level of quality designed into each remanufactured powertrain product.
Mopar’s 3 year/100,000 mile warranty covers the following Mopar remanufactured powertrain products: Gasoline long and short block engine assemblies, gasoline engine cylinder heads, automatic and manual transaxles and transmissions including heavy duty transmissions. Parts and labor are covered when original installations and warranty repairs are performed by an authorized Chrysler, Jeep® or Dodge dealer. Additionally, a flat labor allowance is available to the original installing Independent Repair Facilities.

Other Mopar Remanufactured Parts not covered by Mopar’s new 3/100 warranty (except for remanufactured Cummins Diesel and powertrain assemblies) are warranted for parts and labor by a 12 month/12,000 mile limited warranty when original installations and warranty repairs are performed by an authorized Chrysler, Dodge or Jeep dealer. Mopar Remanufactured Parts sold over-the-counter or wholesaled are covered by a 12 month limited warranty for parts (exchange) only. There is no flat labor allowance available.

Remanufactured 2.7L Diesel Engine Warranty Information

The Remanufactured 2.7L Diesel Engine for the Dodge Sprinter Van is covered by a 1 year/100,000 mile (whichever occurs first) limited nationwide warranty.
Reminder: Reman 2.7L Diesel Engines for the Dodge Sprinter Van do not need to be registered using the Electronic Mopar Reman Powertrain Warranty Registration System. In order to validate warranty coverage, the customer must present the repair order complete with the following information: VIN, part number, serial number, date and mileage at time of repair. In the near future, there will be a separate warranty booklet available for the Remanufactured 2.7L Diesel Engine.
